Georgia Pioneers….Since its formation in 2004, has become the most complete resource of Georgia materials on the web available to researchers. It currently hosts over 100,000 genealogies; over a million images of last wills and testaments and will abstracts; bible records for Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia; 32,000+ Confederate deaths; 50,000 obituaries from newspapers all over Georgia from 1740’s to ca 1930; an extensive collection of miscellaneous research notes; several cemetery databases; Revolutionary War images and abstracts; school graduates with photos from ca 1845 to 1900; and most of my books.

As many of you already know, I have written over 75 books since 1964; the first one to be published by Genealogical Publishing Co. was The Georgians (1984). My recent books, Old Atlanta and Cobb Citizens (and all future books) will only be available to subscribers of

The filming of wills from various Georgia counties began in 2006 and this project will continue until images from every county are part of Georgia Pioneers.
